There is a romantic name on the list of players scouted by Nottingham Forest, with the club keeping tabs on Sydney van Hooijdonk, reports Laurie Whitwell.
The 23-year-old striker is the son of Pierre, who scored 41 goals in 77 games for Forest between 1997 and 1999.
Van Hooijdonk Jr is forging a promising career too, and has this season scored 16 goals in 31 games for Heerenveen, who are ninth in the Eredivisie. He is on loan from Bologna, and the expectation is he will be made available for a transfer in the summer. Forest are among the sides tracking his progress.
