Assane Diao to Brentford FC?

Brentford are lining-up a January move for Real Betis winger Assane Diao.
The Bees wanted to sign another front-line player in the summer and Diao has emerged as a new target following his impressive breakthrough this term.
The 18-year-old made his Spain U21 debut in October and has scored four goals in 11 first-team appearances for Betis so far.
A right-footer who predominantly plays on the left, one of his goals came playing as a right-winger against Sparta Prague in the Europa League, capitalising on a mistake by the goalkeeper to put Betis ahead.

El Betis tiene un diamante con Assane Diao, pero no sólo en lo deportivo. Según ha podido conocer Relevo, el Brentford, uno de los equipos que viene siguiendo desde hace semanas al bético, ya ha trasladado una propuesta oficial al club verdiblanco por una cifra cercana a la cláusula de rescisión -cifrada en 30 millones de euros- y también al futbolista, a quien le mejoraría los emolumentos que percibe en Heliópolis. Esa oferta está siendo estudiada tanto por la entidad como por Assane que también iniciaron conversaciones para renovar su contrato.
Aunque el Betis ató a Assane Diao el pasado verano, las cifras ya se han quedado cortas. Su irrupción en el primer equipo, que lo ha llevado a convertirse en internacional Sub 21, no ha pasado desapercibida para clubes de un gran potencial económico como el Brentford, que quiere apostar fuerte por el atacante, a quien considera preparado para dar el salto a un campeonato como la Premier pese a su juventud.

Dem Talent würde in diesem Szenario eine Vertragsverlängerung samt Gehaltserhöhung und Anhebung der Ausstiegsklausel auf 50 Millionen Euro winken. Eine Entscheidung steht aber noch aus.
