Fernando Llorente to Juventus?

Fernando Llorente has made his mind up. Juventus is his destination, be that now or in time for the 2013/14 season, as AS has established from sources involved in the negotiations. The striker went in person to Athletic Club's president Josu Urrutua, saying that either he accept the current 21 million-euro offer that the Turin club have put on the table or the player will go free on the 30th June next year.
In this face-to-face meeting, Llorente informed Urrutia of his complete agreement with Juventus, and that there's no going back on his decision. The Italian club have increased their offer recently to reach the figure of 21 million, which is made up of an 18 million-euro fee and three million in bonuses. According to some club sources, the amount could rise to an upper limit of 25 million, taking into account that next year the striker would be free of his ties and the club wouldn't have to pay anything for his services. Juve are looking for a quality forward and after talks for Van Persie and Higuaín didn't bear fruit, Llorente is now Conte's chosen man.

El director general de la Juventus, Giuseppe 'Beppe' Marotta, confirmó que Fernando Llorente jugará en el club italiano "a partir del 1 de julio", descartando por el momento una posible incorporación del delantero riojano en el mercado de invierno.
